On Monday, November 16, 2015, At 14:07 hrs. Talbot Center alerted the Easton Volunteers, Talbot County EMS, St. Michaels & Cordova (Stations 40 & 50) for a house fire at 411 Goldsbourgh Street. Chief 61 (601 – Chief C.R. Chance) arrived on location advising of a small trash fire, cancelling mutual aid. Firefighters wet down the front porch area with Minimal extension or damage. On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, At 12:59 hrs. Talbot Center alerted the Easton Volunteers, for a vehicle fire at 720 Mecklenburg Ave (Easton High School ). Chief 60 (603 -Capt. K. Dulin) arrived to find a Waste Management Trash truck with fire in the rear of the truck. The garbage truck emptied its burning load onto a parking lot surface in the rear parking lot near the Stadium. Firefighters from Engine 64 worked to extinguish contents from a garbage truck that caught fire with assistance from the Easton Department of Public Works backhoe to break the clumps apart before fire crews hit the fire.
