July 5, 2010 Local Box 6-5

On Monday afternoon July 5, Talbot Center dispatched EVFD for the vehicle fire in the Hyde Park community. It was reported to be a working fire. Chief 61 arived and confirmed the working fire with no exposures. Engine 65 arrived and made quick work of the fire. This would be one of the last of several incidents handled by the EVFD over the long, hot, July 4th weekend. Later in the evening units responded to the site of the previous evenings fireworks for a woods fire which involved some partially exploded pyrotechnics.
