Just before noon on Friday June 25 Talbot Center dispatched Stations 60 (EVFD) 40 (St. Michaels) and Paramedic 96 for the building fire at Peebles Department store on Marlboro Ave. Chief 61 (Jones) arrived reporting nothing eveident and the building was being evacuated. Engine 67 arrived and took interior investigation while Tower 61 took the roof. Engine 49 arrived and took the FD connection on the "C" side. After some investigation it was determined to be a malfunction in an hvac unit on the roof. Units cleared after about 35 minutes.
