June 16, 2010 On Wednesday June 16 the EVFD attended the annual MSFA Convention parade in Ocean City. With 59 personel, 9 pieces of apparatus and 2 fire prevention queens the EVFD once again brought home the H. Marvin Gibbons trophy for the Maryland company making the best appearance over all. The EVFD has won this prestigous award 10 times since it's inception in 1992. Other trophys brought home were Best Appearing Tanker, 2nd Best Appearing Rescue, Best Appearing Marching Unit, Most Uniformed Personel in Line, Best Appearing Color Guard and the Governors Fire Prevention Trophy.
